Mystic Strings Harp Circle Board Members
Take a moment to get to know our MSHC Board Members. Each officer has her own set of job responsibilities. These people volunteer their time and efforts to ensure that Mystic Strings is a smooth running organization.
Patrice Ribando, Founder & President
Patrice founded Mystic Strings in October of 2000 after attending a Great Lakes Harpers Conference. Her role is mostly administrative: securing meeting sites, communicating MSHC business to members and aiding in new member recruitment.
Patrice is a beginner harper. She currently has two harps: a Stanley & Stanley 29-String lever harp and a Blevins 23-String Mezzo lap harp. Her musical interests are Early Music and Celtic Music.
Carol Hall, Vice-President
Carol joined Mystic Strings in January of 2001. She is responsible for recapping each MSHC session for members, is our liaison for the Great Lakes Harpers newsletter and aides in new member recruitment.
Carol is a hobbyist harper. She plays a Markwood 33-String King’s Court harp. She enjoys all music but is very fond of Celtic music and Scandinavian Folk music.
Barb Eichler, Music Librarian
Barb joined Mystic Strings in February 2004. She is responsible for maintaining a library of all music played by MSHC. She also ensures that copies of the music are available at each harp circle for newcomer use.
Barb is an advanced beginner harper. She currently has two harps, a Lyon & Healy 38-String Prelude and a Heartland Harps 36-String Sylvan. Her musical interests are classical lyrical and folk pieces, although she loves all music on the harp.
Caitlinn Davison, Technical Officer
Caitlinn joined our board in early 2004 as an advisor for website and media development. In her role as Technical Officer, she has dedicated many hours to creating our website and visual identity.
While Caitlinn is musically inclined — playing the flute and oboe — she is sadly not a harper.
